Northern Cyprus will offer fantastic restaurants with great value for your money. The service is very friendly and welcoming and nothing is ever too much....

Turkish Cypriot Cusine
For those who enjoy Meditteranean cuisine, North Cyprus is the place to be. But for those who prefer European and International dishes there is a wide variety available. Most restaurants will cater for children and vegetarians....Therefore you needn’t worry.

Eating places range from small restaurants to first-class restaurants. Smaller restaurants throughout Northern Cyprus serve delicious local dishes whereas bigger restaurants and first-class restaurants serve more European and International dishes with a small selection of local dishes.

Food....
The traditional Meze&Full Kebab, which consists of a variety of cold and hot appetizer, salads, meats, vegetables and fish dishes followed by şiş kebab, chicken kebab, lamb chops and kofte, is the most popular tourist attraction along with typical local dishes such as doner kebab, sheftali kebab, kleftico, molehiya, dolma, kolakas and bumbar. The island offers a great selection of fish dishes also all with fresh salads and cypriot patatoe chips “ real chips “. The “hellim” cheese which is famouse for not melting when fried, is one not to be missed.

Drinks....
All meals are neatly assisted by the locals most popular drinks Zivaniya which is discribed locally as Fire Water and Raki described as Lion Milk . Ofcourse Cin, Vodka, Brandy, Whisky and Rum are popular too and very reasonable priced. Be aware that all drinks in North Cyprus are dbl shots...even trp !!!

Desserts...
Sini katmer, ekmek kadayıf, tel kayayıf, fruit macun, turkish delight and baklava are the specials along with fresh fruits, nuts and honey & marmalades.

Turkish Coffee....
A tasty meal never ends before sipping a deleightfull Turkish Coffee. Turkish Coffee is served in a tiny cup. The cup is small but the taste is strong. Turkish Coffee is available as sade ( No sugar), az sekerli ( little sugar ), orta ( medium) or sekerli ( Sweet ). The sugar is added to the coffee and cooked together – therefore please do not be suprised when sugar is asked before and not during service.

Cyprus Brandy....
Cyprus Brandy will crown your meal along side your Turkish Coffee...

Most restaurant owners, waiters and waitresses know sufficient English, French, or German. It is best to have enough YTL on you when at smaller restaurants as these resturants unlike the larger restaurants may not provide credit card facilities.

But these requests must be informed by 05.30pm as all our food is freshly prepared and shopping is done daily...We guarenty NO microwave food in this restaurant J

- Ayhans : Only 10 minute walk west from Almond Holiday Village, on the main road is Ayhans Restaurant . Mezes, Kebabs, Lahmacun and Pide is offered – very local.

- Address : 10 minute drive from Almond Holiday Village is Jashan a 1st class Indian restaurant - superb standards of service and quality of food ... great value compared with UK.

- Ambience: 10 minute drive east from Almond Holiday Village situated by the sea front Ambience offers a superb standard of service and quality of food. International and Local dished available.

- Cenap Restaurant : 10 minute walk from Almond Holiday Village into the heart of Alsancak Village is one of the Islands best meze houses. Cenap has an excellent reputation for its never ending mezes with meat dishes...The Menu is a set menu and live local music is proformed on some nights. Great value for money....

- Cyprus Bar Restaurant : Only 15 minute walk east from Almond Holiday Village, on the main road is Cyprus Bar Restaurant . Mezes, Kebabs and Kleftico is offered and the prices are very reasonable.
- Capitano : Only 15 minute walk east from Almond Holiday Village, on the main road is the El Capitano. This restaurant has a lovely ship shaped architecture and offers fish as its speciality as well and meat dishes.

- Corner Bistro : 20 minute walk from Almond Holiday Village, this restaurant is on the other side of Alsancak Village. The steaks are well worth the try and snacks are offered.

- Chapter 1: Bar / Restaurant is only a 20 minute walk east from Almond Holiday Village. International, local food and snacks are offered.

- Chinese House : On the outskirts of Kyrenia, 15 minute drive from Almond Holiday Village is Chinese House another 1st class restaurant with superb standards of service and quality of food ... great value compared with UK.

- Di Figaro : Another restaurant 10 minute drive each from Almond Holiday Village is Di Figaro – Its superb standards of service, quality of food and wonderfull antique soundings with sea views offer you a pleasurely night out. International and local dishes are available.

- The Farm House : 30 minute walk from Almond Holiday Village, this restaurant is also on the other side of Alsancak Village. Internationl cusine if offered and also live music is offered on certain days.

- Gulers : 5 minute drive east of Almond Holiday Village is Gulers Fish and Kleftico restaurant

- Hensons : A pleasant setting offering international cusine, only 5 minute drive east from Almond Village.

- Jashan Indian Restaurant : On the main road towards Kyrenia, 10 minute drive from Almond Holiday Village is Jashan a 1st class Indian restaurant - superb standards of service and quality of food ... great value compared with UK.

- Kervan Cafe : This cafe is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset... only 5 minute drive east from Almond Village.

- Meditteranean Breeze : A lovely setting offering international cusine, only 5 minute drive east from Almond Village.

- Misina : Close to the Ambience only 10 minute drive east from Almond Holiday Village on the sea front is Misina Fish Restaurant – specializing in Fish but International and Local meat dishes available.

- Oleander Indian Restaurant : On the main road towards Kyrenia, 5 minute drive from Almond Holiday Village is Oleander. This reastaurant is owned and managed by Jashans and offer a superb standards of service and quality of food Indian and European ...

- Pizza King : Ideal for just for a light snack... Just go down the to the main road, turn right and its just on your right hand side.

- Road House : Only 20 minute walk east from Almond Holiday Village, tucked in from the main road is the Road House. Beautiful friendly atmosphere offering local and international food.

- Saint Tropez: 1st class French Restaurant with very high standards and wonderfull setting ... good value compared with equivalent restaurants in UK – this one is not to be missed.... Only a few minutes drive east from Almond Holiday Village.

- Sezai and Yelken : Another Fish restaurant only 5 minute drive east of Almond Holiday Village .
- Stone Grill: Is a part of the healthy food chain. You cook your own food! But can also have it cooked and served to you...local and international dishes available.

- The Carpenters : A pleasant setting offering international cusine, only 5 minute drive east from Almond Village.

- Veranda : On the main road towards Kyrenia, 10 minute drive from Almond Holiday Village is Veranda, a small family run restaurant by the sea front offering international and Local dishes.

- Veni Vici : Only 10 minute walk west from Almond Holiday Village, on the main road is Veni Vici specializing in Italian food. Open recently...definately worth a visit.

- 5 mile : On the main road towards Kyrenia, only 5 minute drive east from Almond Holiday Village is 5 mile restaurant – this lovely setting offers both international and local dishes.
