Flights - Getting to Northern Cyprus

Flying in to Ercan Airport, North Cyprus:

Cyprus Turkish Airline (CTA): Have been offering international flights to Northern Cyprus, Ercan Airport, via Turkey since 1975. Being the main carrier of Northern Cyprus, flights with CTA are available from Gatwick, Stansted, Heathrow, Manchester, Belfast and Birmingham from the UK & from Stuttgart and Cologne from Germany. Flights “generally” include a courtesy stop in Turkey (Adana,Antalya,Bodrum,Dalaman,Gazi Antep,Izmir or Istanbul) of approximately 45 minutes. It is not necessary to disembark or change aircraft. Direct flights have been seen subject to carrier occupancy.

Pegasus Airlines (PGS):  Pegasus was established in 1990 and has been providing scheduled flights from Stansted to Ercan, Northern Cyprus, via Istanbul since 2007.  Flights between the UK and Northern Cyprus generally include a courtesy stop in Turkey (Istanbul) of approximately 45 minutes. It is not necessary to disembark or change aircraft.

Turkish Airlines (THY): Established in 1933, THY is one of the main carriers to Ercan Airport offering international flights to Northern Cyprus, via Istanbul. Flights between various countries and Northern Cyprus include a courtesy stop in Istanbul Ataturk Airport of approximately 45 minutes. For Stansted flights It is not normally necessary to disembark or change aircraft. Heathrow and Manchester may include change of aircraft please ask/confirm when booking.

  Flying into Larnaca/ Paphos Airports, South Cyprus:

Since the 23rd of April 2004 the borders between the North and the South of Cyprus have been open. Since the opening Larnaca/ Paphos Airports have been very popular destinations for holiday makers as well as locals due to the fair range of international carriers using this airport.

After a direct flight to Larnaca / Paphos Airport, South Cyprus, we arrange transfers for you to Almond Holiday Village. You only need a valid EU/US passport. You do not need a visa or any special documentation. You will be granted a visa at the border. If you do not have a valid EU/US passport please refer to your nearest embassy for help. Our representative will arrange for all your paper work to be done without you getting out of the vehicle. Your granted visa form will get stamped on arrival/departure “not” your passport - so those who worry about the rumor that they won’t be allowed onto the Greek or Turkish mainland with stamps from North or South Cyprus needn’t worry.
